Church Concert Series is going on the road. As a part of the
Organ Concert Series of Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh, David
Bridge will be presenting an organ concert. Mr. David P. Bridge currently serves Christ United Church of Christ in Latrobe, Pennsylvania as Minister of Music. Mr. Bridge has served churches in Westmoreland, Allegheny and Beaver Counties in Western Pennsylvania and in Gaston County, North Carolina. Mr. Bridge is a 1998 graduate of St. Vincent College with a Bachelor's of Music degree in Music Education. At St. Vincent, Mr. Bridge studied voice with Dr. Curt Scheib, Mrs. Shirley Huls and Mr. Roland Wyatt. He studied piano with Father Joseph Bronder, O.S.B. and organ with Mr. Edgar B. Highberger. Come and enjoy a concert of classical and sacred favorites on the 73-rank Reuter Pipe Organ in the glorious space and acoustic of Heinz Memorial Chapel. The neo-gothic chapel features stained glass windows over 70 feet tall, soaring archways, carved wood and stonework, and a steeple that rises to over 250 feet above the ground.
